PLASTIC ROOF CLADDING
When people mention plastic cladding, minds inevitably wander to plastic sheets over conservatories. Along with transparent plastic cladding, a wide variety of plastic cladding options are available. Plastic is strong and light and can be moulded to various textures and shapes.
FIBRE CEMENT CLADDING
This material is a mixture that includes cellulose and cement. For those with a limited budget, fibre cement is an excellent alternative to roof slates. What's more, the flexibility of this cladding means it can be painted to your unique requirements. This is a fire-resistant material that has a lifespan of about 40 years.
COPPER CLADDING
Copper is probably the oldest material still being used on roofing cladding. It had an incredibly long service life. There are quite a lot of copper roofs still in use that are well over 100 years old. The natural colour of a copper roof is attractive; therefore, this roof is often used in churches, etc.
STEEL CLADDING
Steel cladding is cost-effective and robust and used in buildings like manufacturing plants, factories, workshops and warehouses. There is a range of steel roofing types, corrugated steel roofs being the most common. Steel roofing has a service life of about 50 years.
